At Batlleiroig we have been talking about Landscape and Nature since our foundation in 1981. We are committed to the environment and involved in finding solutions to solve the climate emergency. The motto “Merging City and Nature” serves to bring together our improvement commitments in each of the actions we carry out. We work in three different disciplines: Urbanism, Landscaping and Architecture, trying to be very specialists in each of them but from the essential transversality that is required to develop any intervention. The climate emergency becomes today our main transversality, the one that should guide our actions.

Research On STEM Education in the Digital Age
Supporting education through digital technology becomes increasingly important. Especially in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic, online teaching and learning has been increased massively. In these precarious times, multiple approaches have been developed to enable the delivery of online education. But also for the regular classroom setting, more and more technologies are developed and implemented in educational practice. This volume contains the papers presented at the Research On STEM Education in the Digital Age (ROSEDA) Conference, held in Porto, Portugal, in February 2023. The proceedings summarize and link theoretical consi-derations, practical experiences and ideas, and empirical research on the use of technology to enrich students’ learning. Hereby, the papers focus on the STEM subjects of Mathematics, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The ROSEDA Conference and its proceedings are part of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership ASYMPTOTE which is co-funded by the European Union.

Biological Potential and Medical Use of Secondary Metabolites
Many macro and micro species, from terrestrial and aquatic environments, produce structurally unique compounds and, in many countries, still are the primary sources of medicines. In fact, secondary metabolites are an important source of chemotherapeutic agents but are also lead compounds for synthetic modification and the optimization of biological activity. Therefore, the exploitation of secondary metabolites, or their inspired synthetic compounds, offers excellent opportunities for the pharmaceutical industry. This Medicines Special Issue focuses on the great potential of secondary metabolites for therapeutic application. The Special Issue contains 16 articles reporting relevant experimental results, and an overview of bioactive secondary metabolites, their biological effects, and new methodologies that improve and accelerate the process of obtained lead compounds with regard to new drug development. We would like to thank all 83 authors, from all over the world, for their valuable contributions to this Special Issue.
