O presente trabalho monográfico tende a entender os fenômenos ocorridos na educação pela ótica de Lev Semenovitch Vygotsky. Traçando a pesquisa em três importantes momentos. Primeiro conhecendo quem foi Vygotsky e suas contribuições pedagógicas e psicológicas para a educação e em especial a básica, na qual Vygotsky aborda as diversas questões sobre o socializar da criança no ambiente familiar e social. Segundo momento a importância de compreender o conceito de criança e infância sob a ótica histórica e atual pedagógica, assim como a importância da formação docente, prática, identidade profissional e comunidade. O terceiro momento é uma reflexão sobre o sistema educacional brasileiro, unificando as participações político-educacionais, sociais e instituição familiar.
