Information Literacy in Everyday Life
This book constitutes the refereed post-conference proceedings of the 6th European Conference on Information Literacy, ECIL 2018, held in Oulu, Finland, in September 2018. The 58 revised papers included in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 241 submissions. Language, Migration and Multilingualism in the Age of Digital Humanities
Located at the intersection of humanities and applied informatics, the fledgling discipline of Digital Humanities is bringing new impulses to the field of (Romance) linguistics. Those are especially productive in the context of migration and heteroglossic practices, which encounter constraining language ideologies in Western societies. The aim of this volume is to critically reflect on both the usefulness and limitations of digitization in different areas and superdiverse contexts of the Spanish-speaking world. Through 11 case studies, it illuminates the digital turn from different theoretical and methodological perspectives, providing a better understanding of the complex interplay between language and digitization.

A Cumulative Bibliography of Medieval Military History and Technology, Update 2003-2006
This is the second update of A Cumulative Bibliography of Medieval Military History and Technology, which appeared in 2002. It is meant to do two things: to present references to works on medieval military history and technology not included in the first two volumes; and to present references to all books and articles published on medieval military history and technology from 2003 to 2006. These references are divided into the same categories as in the first two volumes and cover a chronological period of the same length, from late antiquity to 1648, again in order to present a more complete picture of influences on and from the Middle Ages. It also continues to cover the same geographical area as the first and second volume, in essence Europe and the Middle East, or, again, influences on and from this area. The languages of these bibliographical references reflect this geography.

Celebrated Italian photographer Marco Anelli captures the construction of Magazzino Italian Art, a new Hudson Valley institution dedicated to postwar and contemporary Italian art. The transformation and expansion of a 1960s factory building in Cold Spring, NY to house an extraordinary art collection has been documented by Marco Anelli, Magazzino Italian Art’s first artist in residence. From initial excavations to the installation of artworks in the galleries, Anelli traces Spanish architect Miguel Quismondo’s plan to create a space that bridges the artistic legacy of the Hudson Valley with the demands of ambitious contemporary artworks. Several essays and examples of founders Nancy Olnick and Giorgio Spanu’s stunning Italian art collection enliven Anelli’s series of landscape photographs and portraits.
