An international group of specialists presented these 53 papers at the sixth crab symposium in the Lowell Wakefield symposium series at the U. of Alaska in January of 2001. The main themes include crab life cycles, reproductive biology and behavior, recruitment and population dynamics, fisheries and stock assessment, environment and habitat, and fisheries management.
